I am in the process of getting a 2002 Grandprix GTP next week, im really excited. My dad has a 1987 Monte Carlo SS aerocoupe. I have driven both cars they both are pretty quick. The monte is 305 high out put 4 barrel rwd. Say we had a little race who would win? Im real happy with the power of the gtp for what i have driven it so far. Its a black coupe.

well a monte ss is only 185hp gtp is 240hp ish

Worthless thread... oh and both cars are not "quick" if you think a Monte with a 305 is fast you've never ridden in a "quick" car.

The monte is easily the better platform, but stock for stock the GTP is easily faster.
