Just found out my gtp is a gt with a top swap so I'm sad help please

Please help me. Tell me it's ok. I just got a 97 gt with a top swap. The guy sold it to me saying it was a gtp and I ran the vin and the car started as a gt. It has headers a 160 stat. 10 mil wires msd coils autolight 104 and I'm sure it has a zzp CPU becueas it has zzp stickers all over it it has a alernator mod on it and much more I don't know I just got the car for 3300 please tell me I made a smart buy. Help people please.
 


Are you sure it's top swapped and not an L67 transplant? If the guy who owned it did the work right, you'll be fine. If not, you might blow it up tomorrow. You'll have to get it scanned to know if the setup is good.
 


if i run the vin on my 98 it comes up as a gt..im pretty sure gtp was an option package for gt's in 97-98. just check the 8th to see what it came with
 


Ok guys that's good news it does have a 1 as the eight number so ok it's a gt but it had the gtp option on it. Cool my heart droped last night when I ran the vin. It has a hud, peformance shift button on it what made me run the vin was thhat it has the traction control button on it and has been disable. But as for the pully I think it's stock but I want to run a 3.4 on it like I said it does have headers on it and a 160 stat on it autolights plugs and I think a zzp computer but for sure I know it has the alternator mod on it. I should be safe to run a 3.4. How can I mesuer my pully so I don't buy the same pully agean. But I so happy to hear that my car is a gtp for real. I knew in my heart it was it has a stock boost Gage on it on the comuper screan. Hey but the pictures are on there way just got to down load them off my iPhone to my computer. But thanks guys a lot.
 
Ok sorry guys one more question how can I tell if I have a zzp or any othe pcu on my car ? With out having to top my car out.
 
pcm should be sitting right under ur air intake... look at bottom of PCM and if its from a vendor it usually has the company name on a sticker.

if you wanna measure, take a ruler and make sure it goes through the middle of the pulley. the 3.8" is the diameter unless i'm mistaken. and honestly, you're probably not getting the best performance with the 160 thermo and the colder plugs with a stock pulley. if you do in fact have a zzp tune, a 3.4 pulley should be fine. the best way to know is to put one on and scan for KR
