Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

so i dont have any rubbing issues but im running a 17x9 +38mm wheel with 255 45's and the fronts like to touch the plastic wheel wells in the front so im wondering what all you people out there do if you run into this.....im thinkin about just cuttin the top of it out and make a fender shield/cover like for a fwi but w/ no opening to protect my filter sitting right behind the headlight/edge of fender.....and to keep shyt from being sprayed into my bay.....what you guys think?

sounds like a good idea to me.
Im pretty sure a heat gun is going to melt the plastic and not really do anything

That way you can form in any shape you want to keep it away from the tires.

hmm wierd. my fronts are 18x8 +32 with 245 45s i dont touch the plastic. close, but no touch. i guess the extra 10 mm makes the difference. btw, do those 255s on 9 inch fit good, they dont look stretched at all? do u possibly have a close up?

nah, im not lowered. probably why. yeah those do look perfect. wierd... i have 245 45s on my 8 inch, look alright, any less and they would look stretched. had 245 45 on a 9 inch, didnt look to good.

time to break out the utility knife and go to work.

otherwise you can just leave it and eventually the tire will wear itself through where its rubbing and solve the problem on its own....

yeah its not hurting anything just making the edge of the tire shiny from rubbing on a smooth surface but hardly even noticeable i prob wont even bother.
