up to 7.8* KR!!!

its like saying " i didn't know what knock did so I ran my car with 14* of knock to see what would happen"

i dont see the connection. i know what knock does and is. im saying i wasnt to sure what the car did when tcs came on so i had it scanning and caused it to come on an answered my own questions. wtf?

everybody is not as smart as you matt.... chill out.

you can turn off injector cut out in the tune, which im pretty sure will does like bio had stated. you can tune it to where it just pulls all the timing when TC gets activated which is completely safe. this is the normal routine for pretty much any vender tune. its usally the first things that are touched on.

maybe you should get educated before you go bashing on people, okay?

My Overkill did the sam thing got to 7. something at wide open on the highway. Mine will not do a case learn either

My Overkill PCM will not do a case learn either. I contacted Will and he was in denial about it, insisting that there should be no reason why a case learn could not be done.

sounds like will has jumped ship and is tired of the tuning thing.

sucks to hear.

if my tune is ****ed up i cant blame anybody but myself.

anyway, back to my question,

so your saying a good tune shoulda told the pcm not to disable injectors, and if i remember right your LTFT and wot was -5.4, and u said that means your running rich? and mine was +5.4, so im running lean, meaning less fuel? so would running richer help the kr stay down, would that also increase my timing? its at 14* at wot now.

maybe you should get educated before you go bashing on people, okay?

who am i bashing. i said he doesnt cuz it didnt appear to me that he did. how in anyway is that bashing. bashing would have been, "man this ****ing idiot didnt do a god damn thing right, he ****ed everything all up and he sucks ass, blah blah blah..."

that comment was not for you......... it was directed towards matt.

yes in pretty much every vender tune the first thing they usually do is turn off all of the injector cut offs. that is usually the first safety caution that any tuner would touch on.

also if your fuel trims are having a hard time locking in, you might want to reset the battery for 20-30 mins and let the fuel trims relearn.

I was bashing you according to him.

Just dont use TCS and we can be friends. :th_thumbsup-wink:

im just wondering why you gotta tell the man what to do and call him a fool when your not quite sure what your talking about yourself.

my experience with tcs in my car is that it does nothing to help you maintain control but to try and regain it after you loose it. IMO, thats too late.

I see your point, im sorry for causing this drama over something as meaningless as TCS.

Last I checked people call others much worse things than fools on this forum and it goes without complaint. But what do i know.

yes, but thats why i didnt say it like that because i wasnt 100% sure.. so i just said he didnt. probably shouldnt have, but big deal. its big enough that i didnt say what i was totally thinking lol. usually pretty blunt

i just had the batter disconnected for about 30 minutes last weekend, changing the spark plugs. should i do it again tho just to see if it changes? that was before i had this gauge.

and i dont like tcs either, but i dont think much about turning it off unless im about to mash it at a light or somethin.

you disconnect your battery to do the spark plugs?

yeah, after i disconnected it i started working then was like "oops, didnt need to" its almost a habit, cuz lately everything ive been doin needs that to be done. i used to never do it no matter what i was doin cuz i was to lazy to take 1 minute to do it, and shocked the **** outta myself one time.. so now i do.
