anyone have info on doing this? and possibly pics if you did that... i just want a little wider tire so 235 should do it...what would the ratio number be?
thanks in advance

225-60-16 has a circumference of 83.62 in

235-55-16 has a circumference of 82.21 in
Difference of -1.41 in

235-60-16 has a circumference of 85.13 in
Difference of +1.51 in

I would personally go with a bigger sidewall to fill in the wheel gap.

Check this website out, it's where I got these measurements.

i would go 245/50/16 but i dont really want a bigger gap in the wheelwell... if they made a 245/55 that was affordable id do that, but no dice so far... so thats why im thinking maybe 235/55/16...

no im not lowering it, i bottom out enough in my driveway as it is...if i cant find something i like resonably priced ill just go stock size i guess...

then your going to make it worse with a 245/50s.
There a inch smaller than stock and you will be lower to the ground.

but they do fit on stock rims.
