Wide tires



those rims are only 6.5" wide, so id only run a 245/50/16. 255 is getting pretty big and whoever is mounting your tires is going to want to kill you.
 


All of the tire places around here say the tires to big and they can't put it on. No one has even tried so now I'm stuck finding someone to put them on
 
EI'VE been telling them but I get the people that think they knw it all and would rather say it don't fit and not try then be proven wrong when it does fit
 


Ill check some mom and pops shops and see what they say Is this a good tire to drive on will I be able to drive on the street like a daily driver
 
its a big tire for a skinny rim. there is a decent chance that you could roll the bead if you had enough sideways action.
 


i see bio's point but i drive my gtp like a maniac and ive havent had no problems and i turn fast it seems like they have better performance sticking to the ground my opinion tho
 
i ran 245/50/16 on my gp and never had any problems, but thats about as wide of a tire as ill put on a DD with stock wheels.
