It is most definitely not the MAP sensor. The MAP sensor is in the UIM on the L36. I'm trying to remember what might be there.
 
I'm wondering about this too! I'm almost done doing my SS M90 install, and I can't figure out where that connector goes...
 


That explains why I couldn't think of anything, either. The secondary air injection system is part of the California Emissions package. If you don't have that package, you won't have anything there.
 
I have the same empty plug and bracket as you. I have an 01 GT. I just assumed it had to do with something for California or a block heater. I never worried about it.
 
nuthin goes there, they used same harness for yrs thats for the old evap solinoid now extended its in the front for the newer 3.8, so it not used they did that thinkin thats what caught fire if it had a leak cuz of the heat between fire wall and rear maniflod then they moved it in the front (less heat) but needless to say that wasnt tha problem:th_laugh-lol2:
