ditching 20's?

im thinking about taking my 20's off and goin back with polished torque stars.. the tires are shot and im looking for suggestions on a good 245/50/16's all season tire... we get like 0% snow here... summers are hot as hell... and a fair amount of rain if that helps any.

also 3.69% too small so your car probably has less miles on it than what the gauge reads.

Get the right size for real.

alot of ppl are running 245/50's on GP's... theyre a lil less ballooned and alot wider.. if i get rid of 20's im going back with these.

245/45r18 maybe

or 225/55r17

or use this and find some more "proper" sizes.

245/55r16 is a better match, but no one makes those.

what are you looking for?

Price?

Treadwear?

Wet grip?

Dry grip?

Cold weather?

Summer tire?

know what you're looking for before asking for suggestions.

well im not gonna doing many WOT pulls in the rain... so dry traction is a plus. average winter here is 30*F +\- here.. summers get up to 105*. lets say 500-600$ budget.

I only have experience with goodyear allegras and michelin harmony X's

The goodyears are decent all around tires but not much dry traction.

harmony's just suck at everything cept they're really quiet and will probably last 10 years.

No experience with decent tires yet.

Gonna try some BF goodrich g-force sport's this summer if i can get the cash for 17's.

They'd be a good tire i'd recommend but they're not for use when its around freezing.

perfect for my conditions... warm weather tire, channeled for rain... excellent dry traction. Reviews sound good.
