I drove to Tulsa with a freind of mine to get my GP, and we were caravaning on the way back. We hit the turnpike (speed limit ups to 75) and he pulls into the slow lane (he had been behind me the whole way) and floors it from probably a car and a half behind me. So i do the same when he gets up to me and get pushed abck into my seat.. i love my new car lol... i pull ahead pretty good until I back off at 105, since the road is new and still kinda bumpy... it was shakin pretty bad. But i am confident that I had him if it were a good road lol

In fact, my GP shakes at Highway speed when i have it in D instead of 3 (which i drive in for the most part, around town and all)

Which turnpike? I got family up there, never had problems on them running those speeds... *whistles innocently* :th_liar:

maybe need to do some checking on the suspension or tires :th_thumbsup-wink:

I'm in Tahlequah, I was coming back form Tulsa through Wagoner... I cant remember the name of the highway though. 412 is much higher quality... and mroe fun for high speed lol.

But yes, I do need new tires, as i said in ym intro post none of them match another one lol

Oh. Not sure, I wanna say it is one up from the base model. I know its not an SS, but i can't remember what he told me :/

I do know it only has the series II, not III though.

I'll do a better job of documenting next time this happens, sorry.

that would be the LS.....and I dont know how your highway department is, but when they do a new road here it is as smooth as glass....the frost tends to ruin them faster than down south...but very good to start with....if yours are bumpy to start with, you have issues.

3800 series III N/A, yes.

As for the roads, I think it might be the separate "planks" of concrete. There are lines all over it, but not cracked ones, just long horizontal ones. I'm guessing that that, coupled with all four different tires, plus the back right being very close to flat (as close as it gets before it looks that way lol) all combined to be a bumpy road. Oh, and in my area of Oklahoma... the roads usually suck. lol.

Some new roads end up being nice, others are crappy until enough cars wear it down smooth.

Lived in OK all my life, been all over the state. All the roads are like that. Oklahoma Speed Bumps are more commonly known to other Americans as Pot-holes :th_thumbsup-wink: if that gives you an idea

Bah. We'll leave that determination for 412, not a lesser road.

its slow trust me, i took my friends 05 base by a fender with 50,000 more miles and subs, and he wants a rematch but i'm waiting tell my car gets tuned. (01gt)

and trust me 3800 N/A are NOT fast, but better than some cars on the road

Nonsense. I'll make a video of our race, when we get around to it. I have yet to REALLY open her up, so I can't wait haha

Perhaps... but seeings how I have never drove something powerful before (ive drove a couple saturns, fun but slow, and a grand cherokee...jsut slow) this is the msot ive got, and i will reserve judgment until I have tested it myself.

The car I learned to drive in had 215HP/225 ft lbs tq and weighed ~3700 lbs so going to 200/225 with ~3400 lbs is still just as slow.

Both are basically more powerful family sedans.

If you want gutless, try driving a first gen CR-V. There a boat-load of fun right there...

New chevy 1500's are still kinda slow, new maro is decently fast, but heavy.

Nice Upgrade from your previous vehicle but ya... still pretty slow... but youll outrun alot of 4bangers and most other NA family sedans so yay

02 Camaro - T/A FTW on speed straight out of the box... ave 15K for a good sub13/high12 sec car... buddy has an 02 SLP modded SS maro and pisses off vette owners because it runs mid 12s and is still stock :th_thumbsup-wink:

Yet look how much we have to do to get there.

Still less than 15K though:th_jester:
