How much boost?!



ok topic... i have a stock pulley... other than a DP and intake... which if anything would help flow.. i toasted my motor on a 5 sec WOT passing some old b*tch.

how do you figure my post was off topic. I was telling you exactly and factually that you are way off. What is your question and/or issue? Furthermore, your point that boost equals power is somewhat false. If all things are equal then this is true. If boost= power straight up then how come a stock pulley can make 4 or 5 psi at WOT on one vehicle and 9 psi on another? you can also port things which make them flow better(more power) and have less boost. So you tell me how that is factual information?
 
Forged bottom end cars from the factory, wow. I wonder how ford can get away without knock sensors in some of their cars, those things are probably prone to blowing up without something telling them kr is there. Geez, i wonder how they can even tune a car without knock sensors, sounds completely impossible to me. No knock sensors? What are they to do?

mike, ive never been one to say anything against you because i actually like your car and what youve done with it a lot. i was at one time going to mimic it as well. do you really need to come on here and try and make us look bad? yeah, maybe you do know a lot about what youre doing, but just because you are doing it 'differently' doesnt necessarily mean youre doing it the correct way either. i wont even try and debate what youre trying to stay 'on topic' with because you brought it up to intentionally start fights, but to say the least: forged internals are for people that dont know how to tune or are trying to run a massive amount of compression or boost.
