• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What Happened to the chat box?



na,

i have the site set to moderate post, so if someone post cellphone spam it will flag it. The chatbox has issues that i have to disable it so i can moderate the post then turn it back on. So we can only have 1 and not both at the same time ;)
 


I think chance will have it back up soon. I know it was still causing load issues. Will ask him about it tomorrow when I stop by.
 
any chat box is better then no chat box!!! im so lonely now haha.. gotta go buy me a real doll to keep me occupied :p
 
Maybe we need to invest in a new style chatbox. Apparently the code for this one likes to cause problems? Or *cough*IRC*cough*

then make an IRC channel and invite people. its not that freakin hard, but the majority of the people will not use it because they wouldnt have IRC programs.
 
Its putting a ton of load on the server. It has this whole time, to the point the vps this site runs on has been upgraded twice in the last 6 months... going to wait a day or 2 to see what the loads are off and look into some other softwares,
 
im getting on aim. so if anyone has aim, get on and add me, bio you on? need some help on something im cookin up....;)
 


i'd vote to leave it off rather than have the forums spontaneously go down. let's all just make a giant Skype chat and see if we can break their server for a while
