Hot Rod Power Tour 2010



I went to the power tour last year. They stopped in dayton oh at the hara arena like 7 mins from my place. It was crazy. I seen this one nice silver 2dr gtp there that was leavin.. License plate said bulkin.. somethin. Anybody knew who that was?? Anyways they had every single muscle car u can think of out there. Ima try an go this year to a couple of shows near me. The funny thing was one of the old security guards that was directin traffic was tellin the cars to burn the tires an everything when they were leaving an even started talkin trash to the ppl who were scared too. I seen alot of nice cars gettin sideways, burnin out an roarin down the street.
 


yeah they came to somerset, which is like 30mins away and I had to work :th_angry-teeth:
oh well maybe they will be close this year to come.

I am guessing you want to go to the start in Iowa and work your way down? I would be half tempted to consider at least to Springfield and maybe down to Bowling Green KY, but past that. I am not to sure.

I don't care where I go...as long as the car is done before then you know? LOL I sure ain't taking a Cobalt with a Cold Air on the power tour :D I'd win the award for best MPG's though.
 
I think some of the cars was lost whe they came to my town. After they had the car show at the arena I was headin home from work at 7 in the mornin an seen some ol skool chevelle SSs, corvettes, and monte carlos ridin around an sittin in parkin lots from out of town plates lol. Hope i dont loose the crowd when i ride around. I wonder if they ever play around o the highway when they cruise aound to other states. Most of the owners of the cars are old men that get a fast car an prolly never went over 90mph in it.

You obviously have no idea what happens on the tour then. Plus...if you go...you'd get laughed off.

:th_shakinghead2: Some people have brains and don't do 100+ mph in a group of cars/ traffic.

UM.... slow mo I WENT LAST YEAR an got alot of props on it actually. Alot of ppl said it looks an sounds nice an ask me what ive done to the motor all i could say was stock for now we'd talk about the motor an stuff to do to it an other cars an that would be it. They were still cool to talk to an very respectful not a bunch of stuck up young a-holes like pp i hear.... Maybe because its mainly an older crowd that knows the value of respect for anyone into cars unlike young ppl. Or maybe u are just a interet wannabe badass because if as many ppl that seen my car not 1 single person said anything really bad about it to me in person, maybe a couple of lil things that they would of done different but thats about it. I dont think u have trashtalked anyones ride to their face. Always hides behind a moniter to seem tough:th_king-evil:

Na i think ill have to disagree on that 1 too. Not sayin no 100+mph but, roads full of motorfolks in crazy fast cars someones gonna mos def play around with a car or 2 on the highway while theyre drivin 100's of miles to other states. I mean think about it if therye spendin 1000's of dollars on their cars an willin to travel an show off their cars miles upon miles across the country dont u think they would want to show off what kind of power therye packin rather than jus lookin up under the hood an sayin it can do this an that??
 


People are usually friendly for the most part. Everybody knows that everyone is there for the same reason. The love of cars. I was afraid of getting laughed at a couple years ago, but our group made a good representation, and we all got great compliments at the shows AND on the road.

Lots of times, people will pull off the road just to BS with somebody. That's probably why they were in the parking lot....ya know, it happens.

How'd you get so smart all of the sudden? I sure wish I lived in Ohio. I've got no problem laughing at that thing. But its ok. See you this year.
 
that will be the day....Yea it needs to be more gp's up there. I only seen 3 other than mines but they were all drivin off when i seen them. Im still debatin on whether i wanna fix up my gp some more an save a lil cash or jus buy a ws6. Either way ima still try an show up for a couple of shows at the tour with either 1. Its hard to find the owners of cars at that tour because every1s always walkin around checkin out everything. Hopefully i can find a couple of gp owners an chat for a bit.
