installing gauges

I just bought a 3 pod a-pillar gauge cluster (I believe this is what you call it). It came with 2 gauges, a fuel mixture gauge and a voltage gauge. I will be buying a third gauge shortly. Anyway I was wondering if anyone could tell me how and where to hook up the wires to the gauges and if anyone had any tips when I do it. If there is already a write up that shows how to do this I would love it if someone could direct me to it. Thanks in advance and sorry if this issue has been already talked to death.

I will be posting pictures of the pillar and the gauges tonight if anyone wants to see my new purchase.:D

I got it for really cheap from craigslist from a young kid, looked around 18.
Anyway I haven't given too much thought as to the actual gauges I just knew I liked the look. Any recommendations for the third gauge I should get is appreciated.

well I don't have a gtp, just a gt so I would think that the boost gauge would be useless to me but thanks for the recommendation...

Thats what I was thinking, I thought that would be important.
Is there a specific one you recommend

I have always liked the quality and look of autometer gauges, but they are not the cheapest...it depends what you want from it. they have some cool lighting options and a professional look(they dont look cheap either)

Thanks for the link, however it still does not show me how to mount the actual plastic pillar and does anyone have a write up on how to install a voltage gauge? Thanks

to install plastic pillar-

1. line up gauge pillar over the stock plastic pillar
2. get 3 screws
3. screw in those screws in the holes provided into the stock plastic pillar underneath it.

hey guys thanks a lot for all your help.
i'll post up some pictures of the newly purchased a-pillar and gauges tomorrow i know how these threads can get a bit boring without pictures ha.
