ZZP Downpipe



I ended up getting the downpipe....what is the best way to remove the old rusted exhaust bolts to remove the original downpipe?
 
drench them with PB blaster once per day leading up to the time of removal. The worst ones are the rear ones because they are exposed to the salt more. These were a biattch for me. The upper ones near the manifold came off easy. Good luck
 


I'll get a video of mine, it's a custom setup I bought off someone, I think it sounds good.
As far as I know it's a high-flow cat, no u-bend, glasspack resonator, dynomax mufflers, and either 2.5 or 3" piping. The guy said it was 3" but I'm pretty sure it's 2.5.
 
You don't know what you put on your car?

I know that's what it is, I was told by the guy when I bought it that it was 3", but it doesn't look that big, which is a good thing cuz 3" is probably too big for my setup. Larger than stock for sure though. I've gotta measure the pipe. Everything else that's exactly what it is though
 
How is 3" too big for a boosted car? Maybe N/A...but not Forced Induction...bigger the better.

Oh, I posted a thread on here about it awhile back and everyone said that 3" was only for sub 3.0 pulley and turbo setups. Awesome. Hopefully it is 3" then.
 


it might not be necessary as far as exhaust restriction up to that point, but it will help a little or not hurt it at the very least.
 
Were not talking catbacks here...its the downpipe...3" downpipe on a bone stock GTP makes a big difference
 


It isn't just turbo or 3.0" setups...it is anything making 350whp or more...anything under that is pointless to have a catback that large

Yeah but I got it cheaper than what the junkyard wanted for an old rusty stocker so why not. Friend sold it to me for $75.
