Yeah...I know...just saying not any car I've ever heard of had a V4 in it minus the old Lancia's...granted many bikes use them.
 
I took the mufflers off my GP and left the resonator. I'm pretty pleased with the sound, deep and muscular. Not really any rasp unless you hit the rev limiter and back off. Sounds pretty good at idle too :)
 
So you just cut off the mufflers...better than fart cans...just go put some pipe on there then and some nice tips.

Yea I just basically bought a metal cutting blade and attached it to my electirc saw and went at it. Connected some pipe to the back and clamped it all and then got hangers to keep it from wobbling. I really wanted the stock tips because then people would wonder what the hell he's got under the hood lol :P

Im not saying it will! I was just letting you know how almost everyone on here feels about that! LOL I had magnaflow on my 05 also and I liked it. To each is there own...and IMO it sounds good. Yes I have heard some exhaust systems on a 03 and under and it was raspy. But I havent heard a GP with just aftermarket mufflers...I have the whole system..not just tips or whatever you wanna call it.
 


Anything without a resonator...aftermarket mufflers or not...catted or not...sounds like epic fail. The res. is what makes or breaks these cars. I put one in after I deleted my cat and got headers...I have flow 40's on my car too...so its a toss up...I love the way my car sounds even when I rev it. No rasp.

I have some knock off flow masters coming from work on tues. I have been impressed with their quality. Plus I can get them for $30 a piece so if I don't like them I am not out much. So I will have headers no cat 28" glass pack to the mufflers.
 
NO MORE FART CANNONS!!!!!!. I got a interior and exterior detail out of the deal. The guy works as a detailer at my work and wanted them for his Caliber.
