• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Changing The Set-Up Of My Gun / Gun Pictures... Obviously

Street Wolf

Banned
Figured I can always put the red dot and foregrip back on anytime I wanted if needed for the shoothouse.

Still need to get a bi-pod, remove the front sight even though it doesn't get in the way, it's still going, etc....

Oh yeah, and no mag because we were loading one round at a time, before anyone mentions it.

(Photo's courtesy of JEFFSGTP, who felt the need to fubar all of my work sighting in the scope.... for a good reason though:p)

Is that an ar-15 or an m4? I don't know too much about guns but I know that automatic weapons arent legal in illinois. Don't know about texas though. Pretty ****ing cool though. I've always wanted to get an ar-15 and put some mods on it.

An AR-15 is basically an M-4. Almost anyone can own an automatic weapon as long as they have the tax stamp to go with it.

That is a lot of scope for a carbine. What rifle is that, and what red dot do you have?

in tex ass i heard just about anybody can buy a hand gun and it's legal to carry one if you the owner of the gun. i thought i heard it from some where????

Just about anybody can buy a handgun anywhere in the USA...although handguns are not really the direction of Street Wolf's thread. :th_scratchhead:

i just jump the subject cause the other guy was talking about automatic weapon being illegal in illinois and street wolf is from tex ass:th_biggrin2:.

Yeah in IL automatics are completely outlawed for some reason, probably because of south Chicago :p

That's not an automatic, you can carry in CT with a permit.

In many states you can technically open carry without a license. There just are not laws on the books prohibiting it. However, that does not always mean you will not end up getting harassed for it by police, store owners, people with small children, people that act like small children, etc.

I do not think anyone that is going to be causing trouble from Chicago (or anywhere) is going to go through the trouble of registering and getting a tax stamp for an automatic firearm...so the restriction really only impacts the law abiding among us. :th_thumb-down:

Not in Texas, you can not open carry a handgun unless your law enforcement. You can't even get a permit of any kind allowing you to open carry. Concealed carry only with permit.

Truth, that why open carry in my opinion should always be accompanied by a badge either on the belt or on the holster itself.

Exactly. Doesn't make much sense, but then again nether do any of Illinois' weird laws.

Like the saying, if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns.

Nice gun btw. I would love to get one like that but right now the funds wont allow for it.

what scope is that? nice set-up by the way...

Thats a really nice rifle... id like to own AR-10.

Thanks, it's a 16x40 with the mil dot reticle that has a option of being illuminated.

Agreed.

Update-

Got the front sight removed so that I can use my glare shield, and Harris bipod is ordered.
