If i am not mistaking according to the same prophecies the world was supposed to end like twice allready.
According to other speculation the world was supposed to end in 2000 (Y2K).
If you look at the prophecies they mean only what you want them to mean. Take this picture that was supposed to predict 9/11 for example.
The three bird like images in the wheel are supposed to symbolize the three planes and the city in the other spoke is supposed to represent NYC. There is more i don't remember. Also Nostradamus said
"In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb",
The third big war will begin when the big city is burning"
Obviously NYC is the city of god (lol?) and the two brothers are the twin towers (lol again).
Now lets step back from both of these. First the picture. Why is their only three planes when in fact 4 were involved? Also their is at LEAST 25 other things going on in the picture that are unrelated to anything dealing with 9/11 but we choose to focus on one aspect of the picture that has meaning because someone "primed" aka told you to. Pictures can be interpreted a thousand different ways but if someone leads you to view it one way thats how youll view it always (unless shown otherwise). You have been manipulated to see what others want you to see. Here is a great example. What do you see?
A man holding a naked woman from behind? You have been primed to see this because of the role sex plays in society today. Did you know most kids under the age of 9 (i believe it was) only see dolphins? They have not been influenced by sex as much and therefore do not see the man and the woman.
Now to the phrase. Wouldn't you think most agree the Vatican is the city of God? What do they mean by thunder? IF they mean the planes shouldn't it have said two great thunders? (four if you don't count the two outside the "city of god" Wouldn't you say the towers merged with each other as they collapsed rather then have been torn apart? Wouldn't you have called the towers sisters instead? Did "the great leader" Bush Succomb (he stayed in office if my memory serves
)? Was their a third big war? As far as big wars i would say WW1 and WW2 were pretty big and the Iraq war was nothing compared to many others. Did i miss WW3 or something?
Point is the world is not going to end. The media is running out of stuff to talk about. When they do they make up news to influence people who are uneducated or cant think for themselves. These people become frightened, do something which becomes more "news". Or something of the sort.

2012 everyone is suppose to die, the world turns into caos, ect. The economy could get even worse by then causing civil unrest. People that believe in 2012 think the world is going to end which would add to the rioting. The rioting has a possiblilty to be world wide seeing how the US economy is dragging other countrys down too. Could it lead to a WW3? Could it lead to nukes being dropped? I am not saying I belive we are going to die, I am not saying the economy is not going to get better, I am just pointing out the possibilities.
I suggest watching the movie called Threads. Good luck finding it, it was banned in a lot of places but if you know were to look you can still find it online. Eye opening movie. Not a horror movie but still super scary because of the realism.

It seems like things are slowly getting worse in the world, I'll give you that. I doubt the world will end in a split second in 2012, but I think it may be a significant year in human history. There's just a lot of stuff that clicks about the prophecies. Humans aren't meant to know what is going to happen, otherwise we'd be in control of everything. Which obviously isn't the case. But as natural resources are consumed, and nothing significant is done to find a replacement for them, what do expect? You think that once petroleum runs out we're just going to wake up one day and find hydrogen powered cars on dealer lots? Does anyone really realize what will happen when we don't have gas/diesel to power our cars/planes/trains?
The world may be waking up to the reality that it's consuming itself, but it's not happening fast enough in my opinion. 2012 may be the year that we really start to feel the effects of it. But we aren't going to just blow up.

Im not a Bible beater...but did study it. I don't believe EVERYTHING in the Bible is real...but this did give me chills..and if you read it does somewhat talk about 2012..but here is what it says : The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. i heard a cool theory today..that the world goes in cycles..and 20012 is the end of the fourth cycle...and that the world starts over..along with your life..like according to this theory we all had this conversation three times before. and that when you die you just start your life over and over. it would explain deja vu haha i dont rele beleive any of this just because proficies are so damn vauge. and the maya are all dead so wtf do theyy know? they couldnt even predict their own destruction so how would they know the exact date of doom? i dont beleive any of it but im def drivin a trans am before then =)))

I feel like it will just be a big turning point in society. We view society today as being very much corrupt and unjust. Perhaps the end of the world simply means the end of corruption.
Before I say this I want it to be known that I am neither for nor against Obama, but in 2012 maybe we will have a new leader rise up that can turn this country around.
If I am wrong, and the world really will end, I pray that I somehow find out a day before so I can go steal a Corvette and have fun with what time I have left.
