Hi guys im buying a boost gauge soon to add to my zzp a pillar pod anyways since the engine is pout i figured tonight id run a line. So when i get the vaccum line it will easy. Where is the easiest place to "t" into in the engine bay also whats the easiest way threw the firewall??? Thanks :) reply asap thanks

I hear the best place is the the t on the intake manifold. Rite under the supercharger next to the alternator. I wish i had a pic. I read somewhere that hooked there u get the most accurate boost reading. As 2 where thru the firewall, idk, u mite have 2 drill a small hole or something.

Yeah thats what im thinking and i do know what t your talking about im just wondering the best way and location to get threw the firewall.......?

i just took my carpeting and floor up on the passengers side and poked a tiny hole in the gromet "also were my stereo cable has been for a year now no issues. So when i do get the gauge it should be as simple and big screwdriver taped to vaccum line push it threw and connect ha =]

Where r u getting this gauge from? If u ordered a boost gauge from somewhere it should come with a t and hose.

im getting it from a pal on the site tomarrow. i already wired in my volt gauge in my zzp pod looks shabby so far =]

Take the gauge with u when u go 2 buy the hose and t and whatever hose fits snug on the gauge get a t the same size as the hose, if anything a tad bigger so its a tight fit. Vacuum line expands anyway so u shouldnt have a problem.

ok np man ill hook you up with a timeline of pics =] remind me saturday night lol but yeah should be simple a ground and 12v switched wire for the bulb and then just a vaccum line no biggy. IM NOT SURE WHAT OTHER 2 1/16 GAUGE I SHOULD GET FOR MY ZZP POD THOUGH?? LOL I REALLY REALLY WANT A OBD2 SCAN TOOL GAUGE BUT IM NOT SPENDING 200+ ON A GAUGE THATS NUTS..

Air and fuel ratio if u just want 2 plug the 3rd hole. They hook up to the o2 sensor, or if the boost gauge doesnt come with vacuum also, u can do a vacuum gauge.

To be honest the only gauges that really matter are an Oil Press gauge, something to scan for KR and a wideband o2.

I agree dan but i dont wanna shell out that much for a o2 wideband how much can i get a kr gauge for? Thanks

OIL Pressure Joe. After all the engine work ur goin through u wanna be able to see whats goin on so that doesnt happen again. i have 4 gauges now i went out an got an oil pressure the first day my car was running again

GOOD POINT LOL i want to be able to have matching gauges =] i have already the autometer pro comp lite WHITE faced gauges and i am picking up the same series color and style boost soon im just wondering does autometer sell a oil pressure gauge in my gauge series?? thanks guys! also i hear its a pain in the ass to wire and stuff and u need a sender wtf is that? im lost soz haha

Hmmm, I wasn't even thinking about this ****, I should get an oil pressure gauge just to monitor what's going on. What are the 3 most important ones keeping in mind that my $$ is pretty drained right now?
