Whats the best place to run a boost gauge vacum line??

if you really want to know everything going on with your car you need:

oil pressure
wideband A/F
boost/vac
fuel pressure
volts

those are the 5 that i had. :D
 


oil pressure ill have soon volts i got in already boost is in the mail coming to me =] and as far as fuel pressure idc honestly lol but the wideband what does that measure?? thanks

Not trying to hijack the thread here but what will that help you with if you know the a/f ratio? Does it help troubleshooting problems you encounter? Sorry, I don't really know too much about all the gauge stuff and I'm trying to learn.

Also, is it necessary to get an aeroforce gauge like an interceptor? Or are these just like all in one solutions to the other gauges? Thanks.
 
If you like your engine you will want to know what your true a/f ratio is. Lean = popped pistons. The aeroforce is a great gauge. Scans most of the stuff you want to know. Just an easy way to have multiple gauges.
 


ok thanks. In you guys' opinions though, would I be better off getting an oil pressure gauge, AFR gauge, and boost or volt gauge....or would I be better off getting an aeroforce intercepter gauge? The aeroforce gauge doesn't show your AFR or oil pressure does it?

Knowing your a/f ratio really does not do much unless you have a tuner, know someone with a tuner or plan on getting a mail order tune. So you could see if your running lean or rich but chant change it. You are probably fine if you haven't done heavy modding or dropped a pulley size.

Aeroforce is a great gauge if you want to spend the money. Their are many parameters the gauge can scan for. They are listed here.

If i were you i would get an aeroforce and an oil pressure. If you plan on dropping a pulley size (with obvious supporting mode) or heavily modding then i would consider a tuner and a wideband o2. As i alluded to before having low oil press is one of the most harmful things that can happen so therefore monitoring it is important.
