i wanna see some exterior shots of your car. i got a gold edition too

exterior is stock, eventually it will have the badges removed, gold pin stripe, and the gold wheels powder coated. but i cant seem to stop doing go fast mods to focus on looks.

well today i made a hard pipe for my intake and ran a chunk of hose from my fog light hole up to the air box.

Oh really, let me know how it turns out for ya. I used a K&N CAI kit. The kit came with a hard plastic intake tube I am thinking about coating it with a ceramic coating of some sort. It may help with high temps. It certainly can't hurt.
The K and N sucks in hot air from the engine bay......if you want cold or colder intake temps you need to get the filter into the fenderwell...
 
sd and gtx hoods are sexy as hell...

anyway, intake temps really only get that high idling, once you start moving they come down within 10* of ambient... at least thats how it is for me. also, the iat sensor isnt insulated from air outside of the intake, which makes me think its not 100% accurate on measuring the INTAKE temps, and INTAKE temps only. moving the sensor closer to the fender wouldve had similar results, IMO.
