• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

glasspacks

they are not to bad

Yes...yes they are if you like to mess around with it opening and closing it all the time or drive in anything but dry weather conditions.

cutouts are for V8 builds........nice on LS motors......not on V6's.....

Well...not really...cutouts are great mods for SRT4, WRX guys too...mostly anything turbo will gain CRAZY amounts of power from a cutout.

I'm kinda changing the subject but..there is a gp on YouTube that has a 4.2 liter stroker, he had it bored. Sounds amazing

Yes...it is essentially a 4.3 liter V6...or in his case IIRC a 4.295

Before I got my gp ( I'm the second owner, got from my bro-inlaw as a gift when I had a bad accident earlier this year in my 92 F-150) Anyways as I was saying before I got the car he had to take it a local muffler shop for it being really loud and found that the resonator was shot. So the guys at the muffler place welded a straight piece of pipe in place of that. btw my car when I got it only had 63,000 on it and now I have 73,000 on it.

and......? It probably sounds like a$$......

actually its not too bad. I do know when I redo the exhaust on the car its not going to be too loud but not too quiet.

Anything without a resonator sounds like epic dogcrap. No cat and stock res. with either stock mufflers/aftermarket mufflers = win.
