Ok guys. I got a quick question and need some input. A guy i selling a set on headers of his car. They are ss, and seem to be nice, but only come with a 2.5 exit.. How well ill it run on the gtp??? Can i mod the exhaust to bring it to 3'??? Thanks!!!!
 


are they designed for the gtp? I think they would be ok depends on what size the runners are for each cylinder. What brand are they? Are you getting a good price?
I guess it depends on how crazy you will get with your end set up.......how far do you plan on going mods wise? I think it would be OK if the primary sizes are good for at least the 3.4 setup....
 
if youre talking about S&S headers then yes they work and they will work great. that is the set of headers i run. the 2.5" collector/downpipe will not be a bad thing. actually most of the headers out there with 3" collectors/downpipes are way overkill for what most people need. they are also the easiest set of headers to install and seal.

if you mean SSAC, they are pacesetter knock offs, which if youre good with cars i would probably pick them up.
 
He said he got them off ebay. I dunno... What size is the stock exhaust on a GTP??? They are designed for the gtp cars.
 
i dunno of the stock manifold/downpipe size. if they are off ebay they arent S&S. they might be SSAC.
 
the stock exhaust like behind the cat is 2.5. This is where it would bolt up to your headers. did you mean they are made out of stainless steal or are ss brand?

They are made from stainless steel. Some little knock off brand made for the L67 motors. I am pretty good with the welder so, I figured for how much they are, I can prob mod them for a 3in. I want to pulley down, but without headers, cant really go too much so....
