Mustang Rims on a Grand Prix

Pontiac Warrior

I've noticed that some people on here have the Powder coated five spokes from the new mustangs on their Grand Prixs. My question is how do you get them to fit because mustangs are rear wheel drive at least to the best of my knowledge. How much does a set cost all said and done if spacers and other things are required. If anyone can tell me anything about this that would be awsome thanks guys!!

you can go down to nearly a +20mm offset and still be able to run it just fine. youll probably have to roll your fenders for sure at that point, but it isnt all that hard to do either.

most people try to stay in the mid 30s for offset to make them fit well and look nice.

pretty fun smoking fords while sporting their rims on a REAL car haha...why should the ****ty cars get the nice wheels?

I have one more question about the wheels fitting is it necessarry to use spacers with the wheels so they fit with a front wheel drive set up? Or can the wheels just be bolted right on?

Bullits are ugg as fawk, and done over so many times its ridiculous. :th_shakinghead1:

Give me a break, anyone who knows anything about cars knows they're just knock offs of American Racing Torque Thrust Ds. They've been popular for over 40 years for a reason.

i was about 20 seconds from buying some 18x9 black fr500s with a chrome lip. too much money for me but they look all kinds of baller.

Ford wheels are 5x114.3mm all w-body wheels are 5x115mm The application is not a correct fitment. I woldn't suggest this.

it works and has worked for a TON of people. it is so close that you cant even see the difference between the two bolt patterns. youd need a calipers to measure it.

How much does a set cost

A guy on our local board, KCPMC, has two sets of brand new dealer take-offs currently for sale for $500 a set (no tires).

I paid $500 for the used set on my wife's Bronzemist with nearly brand new tires on them already.

And for the record, I think Bullitts look great on a GP. :th_winking:

So i'm gathering that they can just be bolted right on then? Not to sound like total idiot I just don't want to end up buying somthing besides wheels and tires being a high schooled I only have so much money. Thanks all for all the help

Bolt them right on and you are ready to roll. :th_biggrin2:
