Im still 100% convinced things are gonna do nothing but get worse with obama in office...the whole "change" thing is bull ****. We did need some change but not in the way he is doing it.

This is how I think of it....Hitler "changed" Europe didn he?

For everyone who says, "This isn't the change we need" you don't get answer out of them of the change we DO need, other than huge ideas like, "stop giving those CEOs huge bonuses." So we should only follow contract law when it benefits everyone? I'm not defending huge CEO bonuses, but they signed contracts that said they were due things. Who's fault is it? The shareholders and board of directors that let them do this - NOT the President of the United States.

Who promised lifetimes of great retirement income and health card to auto workers? Who figured it was better to keep making huge gas guzzling vehicles with giant profit margins? Not the President. GM/Ford/Chrysler made vehicles Americans wanted, and didn't bother with investment in future gas efficient vehicles. Keep blaming the government. Guess what else you can BLAME the government for that automakers said would bankrupt them? Seat belts. Air Bags. Oh my, those are just AWFUL intrusions of government interference. Drunk driving laws? More government interference. Let 'em drive drunk! Doesn't hurt ME.
 
No, I'm not. But I'm also not blaming the government every time there IS a problem, or more specifically, President Obama. Is he the second coming? No. But I have a feeling that a lot of people who complain are not necessarily complaining abut policies - they are complaining because their candidate didn't win last November.

No one comes up to me at work every day and says, "Thanks for doing your job." But if screw up, surely I'll hear about that.

I'm all for spirited debate, and you will see me give credit where credit is due. Conversely, if you are going to complain, give some support, not simply, "He sucks because he does."

If you could care less, then why did you even ask? Do you post in every thread, asking if the conversation has gone on long enough?
 
both of you are dragging the BS along, haha (not trying to get flamed)... and this thread is pretty useless simply because opinions can not be changed on this particular subject matter...

It's like trying to spread your religion... they can preach to me all they want... i'm not buying into it... i got my belief and I'm sticking to what I feel is right

And for dstout, a simple yes or no question. Did you post add ANYTHING to the discussion regarding how Obama is as President? Yes or No?
