I am a greenhorn here but have been reading for a while. But I would like to hear from everyone who"has" put 20" wheels on there GP. I am looking at putting a set of Bonetti 108's on my 06' GT. I have read through all of the posts here about this and that causing problems. So I want to hear from everyone who has or has not had issues and what they were. Do you run the hell out of your car or just drive it? I do not want to have transmission problems so this is why I am asking, although I see I can get a rebuilt from trannyman for $1450, lol. So lets here all the good and bad guys, thanks....:th_thumbsup-wink:

i put 19s on my car, but ill never buy another set of nice wheels unless they are 20s. the only "problems" you might have is that the wheels are heavy so they take their toll on the transmission and braking distances. i only had my 19s on for a few months, so i didnt have a chance to kill my transmission with them, but i dont think it would have been that much of a problem.

remember, more rotating mass = more wear on parts. it's not that bad, but it is noticeable if youre constantly going WOT from a dead stop. if you roll into the throttle all the time i dont see you ever having any problems.

i have 20s on my old gp drove it with them for almost a year and had no problems then gave it to my gf and got a new gp and have had them on only for a couple months but she still drives my old gp with no problems.. but then again i never went WOT with either gp
