BGPM 2008, Sept. 4th - 6th

My fiance actually said yesterday that she is excited for 'the branson thing.' :o lol... lets see how that mood changes once we get there and its nothing but gp's/wbodies! hahaha.

Any other women that are going that want to sort of take my fiance (we'll be married by then) under thier wings for the weekend? She's pretty concerned about stuff like who is she going to sit with at the track.. because she doesnt know anybody. :-/ I always make the mistake of running around dealing with my car instead of hanging out with her on track days. Maybe her and some of you other women can all yap to each other about your men? HAH. ;)
 


Tell her its alot of fun, I love cars but even if I didn't I still would of had fun. Of course us girls will take her under our wing!! At night we just got our chairs and sat out front and talked, at the track we just walked around watched some of the guys race and talked to others. Maybe Swash will do another burn out since I missed the one he did last year :p

Honestly I really dont see her having a problem with that. There were fair amount of other women there. Married and not (well at least attached to someone they knew there). I know several of them went off the strip malls to go shop. So you might need to get some spending money for the Ms's :)

Ok I just submitted my hotel reservation at Fallen Creek. I asked for the backside and I went as far to ask for a 1st floor room. That way JUST INCASE I get tanked again I wont be almost puking over any railings :p
 


This will be my first year attending but we have ALL of branson to see and lots of things to do. I personaly HATE to shop so, shopping with the ladies is out for me. :rolleyes: But, she will have a great time! I have gotten rave reviews the last couple of years!! :D
 
Sheryl is super nice!! She will take good care of your wife! At my first meet, her and Chris were the first ones to talk to us. I'll be racing, or I would hang out with her! I'm like one of the guys....foul mouthed, never serious, and gotta go fast. Well, as fast as my little Gp will get me.
We love Chris and Sheryl!! Oh yeah, Kel is super great too! But she's usuall REALLy busy:) Thanks you guys for all your hard work! (Sheryl did alot too!)

Just for the record I was NOT trying to get the women to shop, I was just stating what some had done in the past meets.

Also I got my confirmation # for the hotel with the request to have a backroom on the first floor :)
 
For the record, this is the first year that we will open up BGPM for the rest of the W bodys (ie have trophies and classes for them). Trophies and classes will be based on Pre-Registration and you have to have 3 in your class to get a trophie, if you dont have 3, we will put you in with another class.

PLEASE get the word out to the montie/regal/impala/etc guys so we can get a good showing and book those rooms.......The goal this year is to make me find an overflow hotel close by to house all you party animals.

FWIW, there is no way there will be 3 of Trannyman's car class. So please put him with the Regals. I wouldn't want to have to compete against his Olds.;)

Would you like to put some money on that statement???? :D J/K hehe I do have a local friend that wants to convert his GN to a series 2 engine and I would love to bring that down but Im not sure if it will happen this year or not, still trying to get his current combo running right

Hope you can make it this year. Was good of you to donate your registration to VJG last year. Would love to see the GP in person, I guess you can come with.:D;) Too bad the other red turbo GP is no more. That combo would have made an entance. Would have made at least 3 badass GPs between you, Shaun, and Farns. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
