After getting walked by that BMW z4 yesterday and not by much I kinda wanna. But then I have tuning, injectors, etc., bla, bla, bla..... And it's no longer a beater/daily. It's a toy. And I don't need one of them.

Also read through most of the manual today as well. Those old manuals have a ton of information. The last section is my favorite with all the fluid capacities, engine specs etc......

Exhaust tips sanded and polished and hitch is finally gone!

So far all my "modifications" have been free since I got it on the road. Almost paid off and then I can get to stuff I need to actually buy. But it's coming along.

Oil pressure sender took a **** on me last week. Replaced that yesterday. Now I just need to clean the mess of oil it made all over the under side of the car.

This is the desired result in the next few weeks.

Wheels will get sand basted this weekend. Might run them bare if I can't find the right paint. Have to do some trial and error testing on random scraps of aluminum I have lying around.

Sand blaster fell through. Started sanding by hand yesterday because work got rained out. Progress has been painstakingly slow. Almost have the first wheel prepped. Pics to come

No turning back now

and the finished product. I left the back silver. This one didn't turn out absolutely perfect but hey it's good enough for me I'll try some corrective measures on the next wheel. 3 more to go.

Well one half is done. Looks pretty good. Definitely a 15 footer though. The lines aren't the cleanest. But I have to say the paint quality is definitely top notch at least in terms of off the shelf stuff goes. Rustoleum acrylic enamel gloss black, and duplicolor acrylic lacquer clear. No orange peel, no fish eye. The tape job was the only flaw and that is no fault of the paint. I'm impressed.

Even though I told myself I wasn't gonna do it, I did an 01 gtp for a family member and got jealous and had to do mine. And the truck. I don't have a problem. I swear. White backlighting, green turns, blue high beam. All LED. Updated needles. Yes I'm trimming the speedometer. It bothers me too. The truck was already LED. Just swapped needles on it.
