Attention: Chris Hinson/Bully Flo!!

Re: Watch out for Chris Hinson and Bully Flow Heads!!

id like to see how well the $4000 dollar heads from your fb page do on an m90 setup.....

but im sure there will never be any dyno sheets for proof of kevins claimed 500+ hp engine either......

just saying as many others have its astonishing flow numbers are so magically hard to provide.

id sure like to see that 500hp dyno graph on a m90........

Whatever Kevin claims for horsepower doesn't concern me. However, I have absolutely no doubts bout his claims.

People are so quick to throw the bs flag on the internet without knowing details.

1. Kevin Yate's engine is 11.0:1 compression and internally balanced with mallory slugs. There have been 2 3800 engines built like this before Kevin's car. (Guess who's they are)

2. His motor is not a 3800. (he has 241 cubic inches of displacement from a billet stroker crank)

This is not anything the 3800 world has seen before. Nor are the higher end Bully-Flo Racing heads & those $4000 heads only cost a portion of why they're relly worth. Go shopping around for titanium valves, keepers and retainers with copper beryllium seats and phosphorus bronze guides in any other application. Let me what you come up with for price.

Re: Watch out for Chris Hinson and Bully Flow Heads!!

how the hell are you fitting berryl/Cu PM seats into our OE iron heads

you EDM'ing an interlocking pattern into the rings at the juncture?

Re: Watch out for Chris Hinson and Bully Flow Heads!!

now i think i rember kevin, he bought the stroker billet moldex crank that was on ebay years ago, COME doesnt have billet cranks on their stroker kits

iirc he had tischler do the work?

Seriously, $4000 for heads? I thought that the 2k price was for a pair.

Not the same Kevin. This one was custom made.

Re: Watch out for Chris Hinson and Bully Flow Heads!!

that I know of only 3 were made by moldex. the PRJ/tog stock stroke, one for the intense car and the third popping up on ebay (I remember scott had sold intense and the new owners were selling lots of stuff, we snagged a 1200hp armet IS, so I figured it was theirs)

I remember the ebay one as it wasn't quite a 4.1L stroke crank. just under 3 5/8ths iirc

being 241ci it would leave me to believe he has the ebay crank or paid for a 4th billet crank to be made

I have heads I sell for under 700 shipped, as a matter of fact, I've got a black friday deal going now on the Bully-Flo website that leaves me making less than minimum wage on every pair. Once you get into $1200 titanium valves, $500 spring kits, with titanium parts, exotic materials and machine work, things can get pricey fast. I don't make a penny on those parts or machine work.

again this just goes back to the people b1tching about no flow numbers why make the claims if it cant be backed up?

sure like to see that dyno chart of the super duper special engine making over 500 hp on a m90......

Re: Attention: Chris Hinson/Bully Flo!! - Snowflake and Fivefingerdeathpunch Approve

So, a customer bought a set of these heads to use on an xpz setup. 700 miles later, the guides were shot. Hinson claimed it wasn't his fault.

lol there is a way better thread on this mess over at thechicagogarage.com in the 3800 section.

Re: Attention: Chris Hinson/Bully Flo!! - Snowflake and Fivefingerdeathpunch Approve

After looking back a couple of pages and finding flow numbers I decided to look up some I did a few years back. These were a very mild port with only the bowl blended and the ridge taken from the heads. There are a my flow numbers and the stock flow numbers of these particular heads. It's just beyond me why anyone that does this for money wouldn't have this posted with each set of heads he does. There's a guy on FB now that can't even give the heads away because he has no numbers.
