Should get my rears stb brackets this week, then once brandons stops being lazy and gets me a shipping quote :) , probably buying his front stb brackets and 2 stb bars, glasspack with flang and maybe his stock dp. He couldn't get the 2.5" off I was gonna buy but my mom needs a new cat anyway. Shall be interesting to see how bad shipping is.

Got my dash cam setup to get ignition on/acc power.

Nice. You'll like the dash cam to be completely automatic. How many times have you forgot to turn it on or off? The cam in the impala is completely manual as of now, my mom can never remember to turn it off.

I usually remember, the cruze was nice because all the outlets were ignition switched so that made me want to do this. This setup cost me like $13 bucks on amazon. For the add a circut and the cig lighter outlet.

So you found a key on source. Is it still on when cracking? That was something that came to mind when I tapped into my ignition wires. The one I used was on during cranking which is what I wanted for hids and a dash cam.
There were two key on wires total, I'm assuming the other one was off during cranking

As for the power drop harness I figured out what it was with like 2 seconds on google haha

that plug labeled power drop is a power cord. you can buy a pig tail that fits it and you now have neg and pos wires.

or cut the plug off and use the pos and neg wires.

I was going to use it but its switched 12v is only on when the ignition is on but not in acc.

thats good to know. i found mine up by the dash on the drives side. never used it, just ran add a fuse to the wiper fuse.

I'd look into that power drop thing, right behind the glovebox. Zzp sells a pigtail no idea where ekse else you could get one.

I need this or something like it. The internal battery in the Cobra 820 died and it can't even remember what day it is. That thing is a POS, it gets REALLY hot (almost too hot to hold onto).

Made one attempt already, albeit half-hearted. The dead battery sucks, I opened up the cam and didn't find a replaceable one. Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't just a couple months old. Anyhow yep, I'm laggin!

Washed it for the 1st time since june, looks cleanish again. I need to really hit it with the DA, I did the hood today looks good no swirls just lots of tiny rock chips lol. I might park it all this week to take a few days to polish it up nice in the garage.

Also my DA didn't act up again. I think it has to do with humidity, I've kept it in the house since the 2nd time it acted up and today it was fine.
