Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

2005 GXP Big Turbo Build **Street & Strip**

I was on a roll last night so I pushed the car in, stayed late and hammered out the turbo mount with Casey. We fabricated a drain mount for the big S475 to support the weight. Check this thing out!

We ended up going forward facing verse my previous idea for packaging reasons. Either way, I think it looks killer. Very happy with the outcome.

Awesome build! I'm sure this will make a huge splash in the LS community. On a side note any pics of the L67 Monte?

wait wait wait do you have a nitrous store right next door too!?? lol

I am the nitrous store LOL

Made some headway last night with the exhaust manifolds. Decided for what I want to do this season, and to expedite the build...fabricating a set of headers just isn't on the menu.
I ended up using the stock front exhaust manifold. I cut the studs and flange stuff off, smoothed the outlet and welded a 2" stainless v-band to the end. The transition into the v-band is a perfect fit. For the rear manifold I ditched the stocker for obvious reasons and found that a passenger side truck manifold fit ok with some work. I chopped off the outlet right at the last primary and added a 2" sch10 transition that wraps around the transmission and reduces down to another 2" v-band. I am very happy with how they came out.

Now I just have to media blast/ coat them and build a crossover.
