The Panda- Pretty Much a Racekar

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

You want to see the doglegs and rear wheel well on my Saab? **** New York, I hate this state and its governor.

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

west coast vs least coast...... lol

cali def has a gigantic modding scene..... that hippie state single handed made the honda scene what it is not to mention the bajillion actual tuners, fabrication shops and aftermarket manufacturers........

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

Most anything has to be like CARB compliant or approved or some crap along those lines i thought

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

Almost forces you to keep your car stock and forces you to buy a new car every few years.. Those that have older cars probably go through hell trying to get their cars to pass.

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

Exactly... It seems like a really pretty and a cool state but they seriously have crazy restrictions and regulations on everything it seems like. Not for me

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

You just need friends.....

Pays to sell car parts. I have about 5 friends that do stickers so unless it can be seen on the computer (hp tuners fixes that) i can pretty much pass for anything

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

And very expensive to live, I wouldn't mind visiting one day but that's as far as I'll go.

So.

now I'm thinking about going 'vert

or nah.

Oh yeah. Picked this up, too. Yay for top swap and stuff. At least it'll only be slow again for another season.

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

Don't ragtop it, Camino it with the back of an S-10 cab! Seriously, its refreshing to see someone using a cutting tool and new steel to fix rust problems. Thumbs up!

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

Do you do body work for a living or hobby? It's nice to see someone taking the time to go right through a car like this.

Both. I work at a body shop, was just 20 hours a week but I got on a co-op through the local high school Career Center, first junior they've ever had get on a co-op. I definitely like to do things the right way, at this point, I don't even care if it's done for this next season, I just want to do it right, and how I want it.

It'd need some huge spacers. Kind of scared of that.

Re: The Panda- Sad Adventures

that car needs simple 5 spoke wheels again so the ctsv brakes show nice too.
just my 2 cents.

same with the others too im happy to see someone spend the time and not just rush and half ass it back together. itll be worth it once its done!
