Need opinions on Riken Raptor ZR Tires

Im also secretly hoping that tire wider tire = more rubber to burn off and less spinning before I have to replace them.... My last set of 225s only lasted a year and a half.

My friend has had these on his WS6 for years. I think he's been through a few sets of them. He went to the strip sometime last year and made 13 passes with burnouts then looked, expecting them to be bald and was shocked at how much tread was still on them. That's when he bought his 2nd or 3rd set.

Basically everything I have read about them says that as far as performance tires go they are not half bad but nothing special either. So factoring in the price im going to say yes and go for em. I know they wont work well in the winter but the compound used is at least soft enough to be workable.

This guy is running the exact same size im getting... makes me kinda giddy.

ive had no problems with mine, but they seemed to dryrot pretty fast.5 years and they had pretty big cracks in them, but for the price ive been pleased..

That's not an answer that is someone throwing out an opinion. I guess I'll find out on my own.

Pretty clear how poorly each will perform in the snow. I had Falken ZE512's years back; similar tread, useless in snow.
