Fixed the valve cover gaskets last night. Hopefully that stems my huge oil leak for the most part until I get some new valve covers.
 
Replaced the power steering pump a bit ago. Noticed after putting serpentine belt back on that the large pulley on the bottom wobbles. Ended up driving it around a bit, and after ~5 miles a second whining noise started. I'm afraid to drive the damn thing.

That's the harmonic balancer, if it has a slight wobble appearance that's okay. If it looks loose or makes noise it needs to be changed.
 


Found some GTP badges, a 24" Matco extension, and a handicap sticker with about 9 months left on the tag at the local junkyard for free. AKA they didn't care that I took them.

The original intent of going there - a black 97-03 hood, an 04+ driver's black leather seat, and headlight assemblies - was a complete bust, though.

Yeah you need some new headlights, yours are bouncy as hell... I could tell while you were behind me tonight haha.
 
Took my car to the police station to get my car signed off for everything, and the officer didn't sign it because he thinks my windows are still too dark (I peeled all of the tint off, there's glue everywhere to prove it). So, he is going to have the state patrol look at my car again to be the judge of it, apparently.

Yeah good idea, I plan to. I saved a piece of the tint to show him as well. I just hope he doesn't say anything about the exhaust, since I've done nothing with it. But from what I've found by looking around the web, the MagnaFlow cat back actually seems quiter than stock.
 
i got a ticket for driving a truck in the left lane. i was driving a pick up truck, the sign showed a box truck. so i took a pic of the sign to court, judge looked at the pic and the pic of my truck with my reg in his hand and the ticket, and dismissed it on the spot.

i looked at the cop and just said,,,see ya.
 
Dont they have have the gizmos that they put in the window to measure how dark tint is. So you don't have any tint yet its too dark?
