I moved Goldie to the curb and parked Shadow in her spot.
I say the same thing, but as most use it, we mean mating an aluminum cylinder head to a cast iron block, or an entirely aluminum engine, because you generally don't get issues with smaller aluminum components as far as heat goes, such as the LIM or timing cover. Engines have had aluminum lower intakes since at least the late 70's as far as I know, could be more but I'm too young lol.I used the term "aluminum engine" ,as an inclusive term. I should have said engines with aluminum components.
Nice rims!! Those look really cool. Where the hell's Montgomery?![]()
Good point. I'm leaning toward a oil pressure/volt combo since there's a factory temp gauge in the dash.
I second that. Me and you are the biggest n/a activist out thereNah, N/A 4 life!

Haha exactly it makes me depressed not picking up bitties by supercharger whine. But that's the only reason. I make my car look superchargedDitto...I look at my car, and my engine, and sigh...then I remember all the issues posted by the S/C guys...and I smile...lol
Isn't Valvoline full synthetic more expensive than mobil1? I swear it was 4 bucks cheaper for Mobil1Changed the oil from Valvoline to Mobil1, both were synthetic. Also tuned the DoD out of my GXP with HP Tuners and going to be getting a custom HP tune pretty soon. I had a couple shift points changed as well. I reset my MPG on the DIC to see how it will be effected. I got a big trip from Detroit up to Traverse City tomorrow with the family so I am interested to see.
I usually get valvoline full synthetic from Wal-Mart....it's only 23 bucks.
