First time at the track? That's not a bad 60ft for street tires. That trap sucks for your mods though. I would look for issues with the car. It doesn't look like it's making much power.

I trapped that with a 3.5" and rockers.

My guess was close as well...where's that thread. Because I thought I guessed 13.5 @ 103/104.
 


He has another trans.....unless this is that trans? I'm pretty sure Greg had his hand in a trans rebuild for this car, but again I drive a Cavalier so my words are meaningless.
 
Is it just hitting the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift? Or 2-3 as well? If your bouncing off the limiter, you'd be surprised how bad that kills your time.

You are totally right, this is as dumb as some idiot with a turbo'd car putting a new 7/8's in when he know's it's gonna stretch again and again.
