Can a fuel pump from a GTP work on a GT?

Autoparts stores should rent out the gauge, can try to prime the pump 2 or 3 times before you try to start it and see if that makes any difference. If you said it sounds like it wants to start but isn't I'm thinking low fuel pressure because you were just recently messing with the pump. Giving it some gas not change anything?

I cycled the key a few times before I tried to start it . I waited until it had gas in the tank to cycle the key . But when I tried to start it, I found that the battery was dead and the battery had a "bad battery sticker on it when I picked it up from O'reilly's (i had it charged there) . After I had the battery charged, I cycled the key again, still nothing. The windows roll down and the radio turns on though . I haven't tried giving it gas . I was afraid it was gonna flood it . I don't really understand the flooding thing though
 


Was the car running when you bought it?,seems like if the pump is making a noise that it'd start,so no fuses were took out?
 


If you can't rent a tester like he was talking about,do you know where the nozzle thing is with a cap on it on the front of your fuel rail?
 
I doubt lines,have you looked under the hood and seen if the pump fusese were in there? Or maybe ICM if there is one,just glimps over and see if you see any missing and look over the ones in the glove compartment
 


Ok,I guess try them few things,thats about all I know to do,I went through that,my pump made the noise but wouldn't start,had to fork out 240 for a new one,just let us know I'll try to think of what else it could be

I will update as soon as I test it. But holy crap $240 ?! It's one for $71 on rock auto .
 
I know now lol,but got a 5 year warranty, I'll swap it before it ends,got it at auto parts warehouse.com,don't never order from them
