• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Ya, I'd never pay for this minimal amount of work. I'm a GT, so only 2 new plug wire clips were installed. Here is the before shot.....

Recall_09047_002.JPG

You can barely see the mushy grommet; it was replaced May 2013.
The main part of the recall involves removing the original plastic wire retainer thats now gone from there.

That's odd. I assumed later years didn't come with one or something, since mine doesn't have one and I hardly see them. Although I remember seeing one on an 06 I worked on, I put it backed after I worked on it

i truly like that clip. best GM wire holder ever. other then the vortect v8's with the coils over the plug, those 6 inch wires rule. cant burn one if you tried to.

not sure if the 04 ups had the recall for that or not.

LOL

I'm over it being gone. I did like the look of the old retainer, BUT, I'm saving hundreds of tree's by not getting mailers anymore, and I let the man think he is looking after me.
LOL...they don't care about the tree's
I get a stack of them in the mail a few times a year, I gave up calling there 1-800 number and telling them these cars are scrap and no longer on the road.

Picked up fiancee from work, drove it to the shop to help my boss work on a model t that is going to be sponsored by liquid wrench in the vegas convention then drove to work and now here I am

That's only because you break that engine every 3000 miles...lol

I zipped from house A to house B to ensure I put a full recycle bin and full trash can out, then zipped to work
