Hardest part of a sender.. is being slow and careful when lifting the pump so you don't beat up the sendor.. however since you are replacing, you only need to be nice to the new one going back in. So the second hardest part is having a nice sharp small pick to help the wires out of the connector if needed. It's not always required.
 
Depends on the year. I've seen the old style beat it in a circle fuel tank ring and a ring plier clip too. Either way a screwdriver and hammer can take care of getting them out. In is cake.
 
So accordinging to the dealer this car has three o2 sensors. I call BS. I wanted part numbers to order oem ones and they said two before cat and one after. I have my entire stock exhaust from headers all the way back and definitely only see two

Yep. I ran mine over a wire brush to get all the rust off, and coated it with grease to prevent any more. Pop the wires/lines off, pull it out and put it in a container. Sending unit is held with a lock pin, then two tabs. Pull both lock pins on the wire connectors and remove them, and reinstall in reverse. Search fuel sender Bonneville on YouTube. Dont tear the sender apart like the guy does though.
 
Well assuming AC delco are the oem o2 sensors I just ordered both of them

Edit. How long should it take for exhaust to welded up? Shop just quoted me 4 hours. And that's with mendrail bent tubing, two o2 bungs, flex, cutout, and mufflers getting welded on
 


History does tend to repeat itself, a dump truck ran into the back of mine today. Nifty! Was stopped at a light and he just creeped up until I stopped his truck with my car. Didn't know how long it would take him to find his brakes so I just held still. The driver said he didn't know anything happened until I stuck my head out the window. He was one step away from road rage and started cussing me, said there was 20 ft in front of me where I could have pulled up. Yeah, cars were creeping towards the light but I had a dump truck about to hit me so my eyes were on the rearview. Should be fun trying to get paid for it, but I'm gonna need about $500.
 
He's cussing you because he hit you?

LAWL, prehaps he should learn to watch other drivers/cars on the road. It doesnt matter if you had 20 feet or 40 feet, the light was red and you are suppose to stop.
 


When the cussing started I asked him if he wanted this to get ugly. He had 80 lbs on me easy but it ain't the size of the rock its how hard you're willing to throw it, right? Anyway when he said the 20 foot thing I asked if he thought that was the issue here. He was sarcastic and said he wanted a picture of the "damage" I pointed out the flat spots around the tag and a crease in the plastic and reminded him that this did just happen and that I do have damage he is responsible for. He scribbled his info and off we went. I actually think the rebar brackets will be mashed a little and the absorber will be hurt too. I really don't enjoy repairing this kind of bumper cover damage but it looks like fixing mine is the best route at this point.

There will be no suggestion in his name that he has anything to do with dinosaurs anymore than his current name. I don't want anyone thinking there's any connection between the dinosaur in my sig and Kyle...that is for damn sure.
