With my 3.1 pulley, what spark plugs to run?

I am currently running AL104s. With my 3.1 pulley, should I drop to 103s?

I see small blips of knock here and there but it may be due to being slightly rich at times. Still playing with fuel tables a bit and dialing it in after my latest mods (rockers and pulley swap)

It can indicate the temp. If they are nice and white is nice and lean. Golden is a good range, dark Brown or blackish will be too rich. Too rich indicates you should go a little warmer. Too Lean would be a little cooler.

Ah ok. I knew the dark was rich and light was lean Just didn't know how that applied to temps. Good to know!

Edited before the tuner guys get here. LOL

It's the hottest spark you can get away with, no the coldest.

I just run cold plugs with a small gap because I'm lazy AF.

Sounds like I should maybe stick with my 104s for now and just monitor knock. If I continue to see blips here and there maybe I'll give 103s a shot to see if it takes care of it

Great info.... right now with the VS cam, tune @ 18* timing they are that grayish color. I'll swap the 3.4 on throw in the 104 ' s and take the timing back down and slowly work it back up then read the plugs again. I keep saying the 3.4 is enough for my DD but I keep looking for a 3.2 to come up for sale. It never ends.
