Worked on the gp today. Washed it all up, cleaned all my stuff out, put stock air box back in and stock spoiler back on.

It's safe to say that SLP spoiler made the car....

And I washed the engine bay down with degreaser and got the underbody best I could without dragging the ramps up.

I posted pictures of my car. I dropped off my gtx hood, my slp gen 1 spoiler, my sd air dam, my gpos and my front filler plate all to be painted, painted my top hats on the rear brakes to get ready to install gxp rear brakes, painted the ported gen 3 in a chrome finish one coat so far.

It was kinda bitter sweet cleaning it out today. I'm torn about it but it's just time to move on.
 
Today I drove back home, I miss not living with my mom. But at least I got a bunch of stuff done for her. Then I talked to my dad for the first time in 6 months, treated him and my sister to lunch. Was a good day, also the car pull 29 MPG on the whole trip. Which included mostly highway, back roads, and driving arount flint. I also saw some guy at a gas station with a blue GTP, dual tips, spyder headlights. He poked them and they moved probably a half inch. I bet the bounce is horrible.

Started the 81 F250 up and let it run for a bit since it had been a few weeks. The old alt. belt broke last time so I found one that kinda fits just for now. It runs okay now, no dead misses any more, just a few here and there that stops when it warms up. Drove it back and forth and it picks up pretty good. Then I started the mustang and it immediately burned the belt up which is odd, so again I found one that fit and said forget it, it doesn't want to be run apparently. All it is, crank, water pump, alternator and they spun freely. I think the water pump may have come apart inside or something and locks up at higher speeds.

We take the impala to my uncles every time and all I ever think about is when are those stock plastic elbows gonna break..
 
took the car out for a drive...went to dunkin donuts this morning got to the window and it started chugging..sounded like it was cammed lol gotta fix that o2 sensor tuesday!

I know how you feel Danielle. The lady I was seeing said I spent more time with my car than her. She said either the Grand Prix goes or I go. I took her in my arms told her I was sorry and asked her if she needed gas money. Yeah, sometimes you just have to move on.
