Understand what "worst case" means, sure many cars don't have the issue but enough do have these issues.

I'd be all over a G8 if the paint issue didn't exist - most cars will rust up here in Ontario before the motor ever gives out, so good paint is important unless i want to drop $4K on a paint job
 
I understand where you're coming from. N that stuff can happen to any car. I'm in Michigan so winter is rough as well. I'm hoping I'll have a winter car or barely drive. I'm a seasonal worker anyways. But just because some people had those issues, I don't want that to make me not even get one.

Just went n checked it out after work, all seems well and going for it on Friday! It sounds really good n not stupid loud. Also gets up n moves lol

Looks nice. I say to get it. Not everone is problematic. You know how to take care of the paint so you will be good.
 
Really wished Pontiac did the interior similar to the GTO's, I wasn't impressed when I test drove one a few years back. Regardless this is a HUGE upgrade over your GP. Car looks like it's in great shape and welcome to the LS world. You are going to love the power! Looking forward to pics and seeing what you do with it.

Yup should be Friday. N he does detailing on the side. The paint was in real nice shape. Looked to be waxed recently n the tires were all shined up n he washed it yesterday. Seems like a cool dude, went to my high school and we know all the same people.

I like the interior, the seats and the steering wheel. Also the sunroof setup is pretty sweet. 4 different settings. I like the red ring on the speedo. Nice thing is its already modded with everything I'd do soon. I might just do wheels n well see. I'm sure I'll learn more. I always glance on their forums but never looked into mods n stuff more. Kinda want camaro rims because they look sweet as hell n ik they're played out but I've only seen one around me with them on. N thanks man. I'll make a ride thread and plenty of pics n videos!

As long as your happy. It just would have been nice if Pontiac added suede throughout the car. There's a reason why people put Camaro wheels on them as they look good. I'll look for your rides thread. You are going to be like a little kid on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa to come until you drive the car home.

I know it's stock, but it is a leather cover over foam in the seats, that's what I was referring to. Not saying I couldn't overlook it if I were in the market, but for the money this car cost new you'd expect a little bit better fit on the seats.


regardless it's still a very nice car, and if you purchase it I will be jealous :p

It popped up man n I hopped on it.

I just bought it. At secretary of state now transferring title and registration. Pics to come when I get home:p

Bank loans get you now by the way. They charge you the sales tax n give it to sec of state. Fml. Had to pay 1080 on top of it.

It has some bolt ons. Headers, tune, exhaust.
