Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

oh. and HF buffing pads do suck. al i did was the bumper and the back side of the orange pad was tearing off the hook and loop pad. orange dust was flying lol

but the HF buffer gets 2 thumbs up. it works just as good as a PC if you ask me. and ive used a pc many times before. for the money the HF buffer is tits.

awesome!

you need a pair of channel lock pliers for the win. jack car up take off pass front wheel, then reach in to it. ( i know your arms are as long as mine ) unplug it, then take it out with the pliers. that is the easy way.

Scotty.... i have the 5.3.... the sensor is on top...

Thinking of painting my front bumper. Tips? Oh and my fender as well.

watch a bunch of how to paint vids. 50% over lap of each pas, steady speed and same distance from the parts on all passes. i used duplicolor paint, their web site has some good how to's also. i also primed the bumper, but i did that cause i did a lot of nick and chunks of bumper missing repairs.

and prep. just when you think its done, wipe it off once more. after your done wiping it off dont touch it with bare hands or you leave oil from your fingers. paint dont like oil.

my front is next. it was to be a nice easy re paint, but i cracked it underneath this winter, so yeaaaaaaa, more patch work. at least this is hidden.

i kid you not, its worth a shot. its not all that hard for a diy kinda person. you just needs a tall saw horse to set it up on and paint it. and leave it alone till it drys. (you will need to take it off to paint it properly)

oh light coats too. if you see a spot that looks like it needs more paint, DONT PAINT IT! catch it with the next coat. you dont want runs.

like a so. this way you can paint the sides of it well, can walk around it and paint it all with room to spare.

and you dont have to tape/ paper off your car to protect it from over spray.

I painted exclusively for years and still can, y'all holler if there are tech Qs on that. Test drove my new trunk emblem today, lol. Both people I asked said it was an improvement, both that responded here said ditch it. Now I have to decide for myself...

Is it difficult to remove the bumper? The front one?

its mostly them center push pins that hold them on. maybe a few screws in the fender area.

the back on the regal had a bolt on each inside trunk to the bumper, a few screws in the fender well and 3 clips under the car and a few on the top. came off in like 15 minutes.

cant see the front being much harder.

Drove home with the windows down and sunroof open, first time of the season.

The SES light came back on for the downstreasm o2 sensor, cleared it while driving lol. Trying to figure out which brand I want to get. I heard that bosch doesn't always agree with our cars, and I was gonna go denso but I saw that Ginseng posted he put the same part on and he's got a code again, but he had to modify wires from headers so it may be because of that. And Ac Delco is double the price of all the others so I really don't want to get it if a cheaper one can keep the ses light off. I mean, all it does is check cat efficiency.

the ac delcos are like 42 bucks on rockauto. i was thinking of changing my up stream o2, (so i looked them up) maybe it will help my crappy mpg for around town driving.

everywhere else wants a arm or a leg, maybe your first born too lol.

Yes my cat is stock, and also scotty I would probably get the ac delco for the upstream (if I needed one) since it's much more important. And I'm 19 so if they want a firstborn they might substitute an arm AND a leg instead. lol
