Why I hate buying things off of ebay

So I have been looking for a pair of oakley radar sunglasses for a few months now. Hoping to find a better deal than their outrageously expensive sticker price, I took to ebay. Horrible mistake. Now I understand that there are a lot of fake products out there, but I found a pair with original box, paperwork and case but they were the only things in the listing that were ever made by oakley. So after a 4 day wait I received a flimsy, obviously fake pair of glasses in the mail and I am furious. Now I have to go through the hassle of getting my money back. End rant.

Make sure you give the seller horrible feedback after you get your money back, thats about the only thing you can do

Yup I never buy sunglasses or cologne off ebay anything like that can easily be fakes. Google how to tell fake Oakleys at least. Never get a polarized pair with that "p" sticker. "Polarized" is etched in the bottom right lens. Same with beats headphones n stuff.

$240 for sunglasses is stupid. I paid $5 for Foster Grants from WalMart and they do the job just fine. WalMart has polarized sunglasses too.

Update: I went to the oakley store and $239 later I left with my desired, genuine oakley radarlocks

Nice :)

I paid over $400 for prescription Oakley sunglasses. Like most products you get what you pay for. Some people buy their bikes at Walmart - I'm sure you can guess what I think about that.

Dropping that kind of money on sunglasses seems pointless to me. I could understand maybe $40-50 on sunglasses if they'll hold up, but $250-400? You guys are nuts. LOL

Unless you are doing fierce competition mountain biking then a WalMart bike will do the job just fine.

I'm on the crew (rowing team) at school so I use these glasses 6 days a week. I've had oakley sunglasses before this and they are just hands down the best that you can buy. Well worth the money I think.
