so this girl i work with used to work at a honda dealership. had to listen to her today tell me that she had a friend (also a honda tech) change her oil and tranny fluid and that her upper ctrl arm is bad. she says its a safety hazard and one bad bump and her wheel will fall off. I told her she would be fine, unless the off case the arm has a crack in it or something, it's normal for the part to wear out and cause some play in the wheel. so she said she's looking at 500-600 dollars
apparently i'm wrong. because you work at a honda dealership you're the be all know all of cars. then, another employee says "suspension.. what all is that?" *facepalm*
so i let her tell it. apparently its end links and control arms.
I told her a control arm for our car is less than $100. she says is that aftermarket? I said yes, but if you want the "factory part" that can be bought as well it doesn't HAVE to come from a dealership. no no no!! unless it's dealership it's not a honda or gm part.
THENNNN she goes to tell me the superb quality hondas are made of and essentially what a pos my gm product is. I said yeah well, I was just trying to make sure someone wasn't trying to take advantage of you or scam you. But. I was wrong.
