I want these wheels in 18's for my Black '04 impala SS, my question is what size do I need ? 18x8 and is it 5x110 ? and the wheels are a 40 offset will they fit ? one website didn't even mention the offset but said they would fit, just want to make sure they will. I'm thinking about going to a 245/40 tire but still haven't decided which tire yet, its only for spring thru fall and I don't want to spend big bucks per tire. Also im getting the intense racing coilovers with this setup, should look good! Another thing should I get new TPM'S ? seems like they are crapping the bed, everytime I reset it the next day it says I have low tire pressure, and I'm assuming I have them ?

the link I included that website didn't say what the bolt pattern was but it said it would fit, Soo I'm not sure.

everything i looked up says its a 5x115. your car. the link dont say what pattern they are but says they fit. you can always email them and ask to be sure.

the ford is 5x114.3

well if 5x4.5 will work then im all set, I just don't see any 5x115, and the 40 offset will fit ok with the 245's on my impala ?

245/45/18 tires and hub rings for wheels.
Your bore is 70.3. So on the last page wheels they are 72.6, you would need 72.6 to 70.3 hub rings

Hub rings aren't 100% necessary if you do it right. My Stealth has a small hub bore and I have used Mustang wheels with no hub ring and had no issues.

if you can find 5x115 get those, thats what your supposed to run, being your buying new.

unless you find a cheap used set then go for it.

but its always nice to have them as a safety precaution right ? Soo I think I will get them in 5x114.3

It's not even really about "safety" in this case. Its about "balance." If you put the wheels on correctly and tighten them correctly there will be no safety or balance problem. If you want to get them, then get them.

how can you put on wheels incorrectly ? I guess the only thing you could do wrong with tightening them is not torqueing them to spec.

the hub ring centers the wheel as it sits on the hub lip. keeps the wheel dead center, now add a wheel thats .2 mm off from the lugs, and a center bore thats larger so now it not resting on the hub ring, and you got a off balance wheel.

just buy what you should buy. your correct lug pattern. your buy them new right? buy the right ones.
