I feel soldering is better than jb weld. I hate that stuff never works out good for me

learn quite a bit while being an AC tech, its no different than a condenser coil LoL

You can actually solder refrigeration systems. Solder will hold pressure well. Soldering aluminum I don't think, aluminum will conduct the heat everywhere rapidly. TIG weld or MIG set up for aluminum.
