put the JB weld rad repair to the test again today. it passed this time. no leaks. and i drove it longer/harder, and let it sit and get to the top of its operating temp.
 


Took some pictures of it and almost got hit by a school bus today. I was sitting at a red light and looked in my mirror to see the school bus lock all the tires up and start shooting sideways.. It's amazing what 1/4 inch of snow does to some people..

Oh, and I drove it to my interview today. Guess who got a job at Auto Zone??
 


2 interviews set up for monday! give me moneys! D.. those retros are gonna be nice. hopefully have enough coin in the next month to get a set of my own finally. spring can come any time now...
 
I was going to reinstall my AEM wideband and my new boost gauge, but somehow my car ate my power harness for the wideband. Gotta wait til the new harness gets here. bleh.
 


Went to work and got gas, car only stayed clean a few days but looks pretty good cleaned up. My bosses nephew wants to sell his 08 black GP GXP with 65k miles. Says because it gets too bad of gas mileage, and wants to get an audi instead :th_wtf:. Got gas today and saw another blue Gp with the polished torque stars. 2 door was the only difference, followed it almost all the way home lol. Whoever owns it went just 1 block away from me.

Also saw this today, I didn't know they supercharged cobalts. Has a stage II kit of some kind says the owner, I noticed a 3" DP when I was under it.

Yep, they made sc'd and turbo'd cobalts.

Not sure what year they switched to the turbo tho, all came with manual trans too. The only auto cobalt SS had an n/a engine.
 
Yeah I tore down a 2.2 ecotec before, I knew they turbo'ed the 2.0's, but seeing the supercharger was surprising. I replaced the failed t-stat on it with a 180. It kinda sucked but I got it.
