Car turns over, but won't start without giving it some gas

I recently installed a ZZP ported throttle body and since I did this, my car turns over, but won't start without hitting the accelerator to get it up and running. When it's warm it starts rough, but gets going on it's own. I'm thinking the butterfly might be stuck closed not allowing air to get through when cold. I reset the battery and double checked the throttle cable and tightness of the throttle body and all is well. Any suggestions?

Idle air control valve working properly? And the correct tension on the throttle cable? There's not much else it could be. Maybe start it with the tubing off or a second to see if you can spot anything strange. Watch it while someone starts the car.

Ya, I was thinking it could be a sensor. I got new sensor's with the throttle body so maybe one was bad. It's weird though because once it starts it idles normal. I'll check the throttle tension again, though it should be fine.

Also my supercharger made a weird noise when I let off the gas after boosting. Like air was getting trapped somewhere, it was a louder whine then normal. It drives fine and seem's to idle ok so this really boggles my mind lol

The problem is I already sent it to zzp for my core return. So I'm stuck with this one for now. I'm going to try to switch out the tps and see if that's the problem. It sometimes surges when accelerating from a certain speed. It's worth a shot.

if that dont help maybe take it off and make sure it moves smoothly and dont bind up or something.

maybe pick up a TB from a JY.

Ya, I'll do that. I'm hoping it's the tps cuz it idles fine once I give it gas so I'm thinking it can't really be the iac. I'll let you guys know if the tps is the culprit.

Yup I would grab a stocker from the JY and try that and then like the others have said you'll know if the new TB is the issue.

MAF should be good, replaced about 6 months ago. I got the tps put on last night and it drove fine. A little rough start again, but I'll have to see what happens when I try to start it cold.

Well I installed the TPS and my car run's better, but still doesn't want to start when cold. I will have to pick up a tb from the yard at some point. Thanks for your guys' input.

Ok, I'll check the jy and get back to you. Also the vacuum hose that connects to the throttle body was cracked so I duct taped it. Do you know where that hose leads too?
