gp meet at Dan's house oct 13

Yeah I still need to port it but I'll have it done. Joe I'm down to go to columbus. I need to have Brian finish my tune anyway

You've got me beat, I don't even intend on touching the LIM before the meet. My goal is to just have the sway bar flipped and do those control arms by then. Truth be told, I just needed bushings, but at that price, I was not going to screw around with trying to press out the old bushings... it's easier to just replace the whole contraption.

Matt wants to assemble all the parts for a topswap by this meet... Dunno if he will pull it off but if he does it will be interesting.

I'm still not sure if i'm going to have the money available to get the LIM done before the meet but i'm going to try. I'll probably wait to do my motor mount because I don't wanna screw anything up with that.. I'm hoping that before Christmas I can get all the repair work done and have some headers on by then.
 
And to jump into this conversation about ported superchargers.. How difficult is it to do that? I'd love to have mine ported.
 
Something tells me we'll have to get this day started at about 6 AM, and it'll be another one of those "meet/fix" days. :D
 


I have a new rad that will be installed sometime this coming week (probably Tuesday). The LIM gasket, all it's associated thingamajigs and whatchamacallits, a pair of valve cover gaskets, and a pair of aluminum coolant elbows are awaiting install.

I'll remember to bring beer so I can stand around and yell things.
 
If you want help with that radiator i'm not too far away.

Hopefully I will also have all the things stated above by then as well.
 


Ace, I'll be tackling the rad on Tuesday night, after I get out of class at 2:30. You're welcome to join us. We always get Sonic before and usually after, too. Since it's happy hour, half price drinks from 2 to 4.
 
This is still happening, yes? If so I need to get calipers on my GP quick or i'll be driving the Eldorado to a GP meet.. lol
 
I got an air compressor that needs replaced, too. Ace can attest that the sound of the bearings are obnoxious. I'll have it replaced before the meet if (1) I can scrape up the nearly $300 it will take to do the job properly and ;2) I get around to doing it in time.

If you want to wait we can do it then. If you already have it on then all we have to do is vacuum it and fill it. It's up to you.
 
If you have the money to dump into getting a compressor I can still help you get it on. That way your car won't be in parts all day long and hopefully we can avoid having another fix the silver GP day lol. Hopefully we can get some legitimate modding done this time. If I didn't have my LIM to do and that vac leak to fix i'd have some headers to put on.
