gp meet at Dan's house oct 13

I can make sure I clear up that day.

What's the address?

Guess I should start assembling that grocery list.

This car is becoming a money pit. The list reached $300 in a hurry.

So far for the LIM gasket, a supercharger gasket, a motor mount (which I need done) and a ZZP coupler its come to $140. I also need to get valve cover gaskets.

I need the LIM gasket ($50), a pair of control arms ($120), a new supercharger gasket ($10), a 3.5 pulley ($100 new, looking for cheaper though lol), and still need tuned.

I'd like to say I'd be happy with that much - but then I'd probably spring for headers, too. And then a 3.4. And on and on...

I can't decide if I want to buy a MPS now or wait and get headers first.. I'd like to do a 3.4 pulley with supporting mods and a cam is my grand scheme for my car.

I got the control arms. Just about made the guy at O'Reilly's cry when I wanted him to price match RockAuto.com's prices.

And the sway bar end links, I'm shooting to flip the sway bar this weekend so I can make sure it's false KR.

Then, pulley drop galore. Double that with a ported blower and that whine will be music to my ears.

Can you get them to price match rock auto's prices? If so i'll pick up what I can there. I may just try to do the LIM myself next weekend with the help of my dad along with my brakes. I need a motor mount terribly bad though..

I did, sort of - I got the house brand for $60 a piece, instead of their asking $89.99 each for them. Officially their policy is to price match only stores that have a physical location, but those guys all know me by name. So, they met me somewhere in the middle.

I figure it's a fair enough trade - I didn't have to screw with freight shipping, and if it breaks under warranty, again, no screwing with shipping - just drive over to the store and get it replaced for free.

Don't schedule brakes and the LIM on the same day - you should know to take whatever budget of time and money you 'think' it will take, and triple that to find out how much time/money it really will take. :th_biggrin2:

Ohh I gotcha haha. And I wasn't planning on doing the LIM and brakes the same day. I'll do brakes one day and give myself two days for the LIM. Gotta love 3 day weekends :th_thumb-up:

You've got me beat, I don't even intend on touching the LIM before the meet. My goal is to just have the sway bar flipped and do those control arms by then. Truth be told, I just needed bushings, but at that price, I was not going to screw around with trying to press out the old bushings... it's easier to just replace the whole contraption.

Matt wants to assemble all the parts for a topswap by this meet... Dunno if he will pull it off but if he does it will be interesting.

That, and we still need tuned.

I will have a trans that needs replaced around that time or sooner.
We could do a trans swap

I have a lot of sc parts :)

I am going to Greg's sometime within the next month to do the swap, I though we could do meet/mod day at his place if he is open to it. He is super busy with buying the new place. We will see how it plays out. Want to meet up with my fellow Ohioans.
